Armstrong ’s Office of Financial Aid was awarded a $4,000 financial literacy grant by Higher One, Inc. to provide financial literacy education to first-year students and Hispanic Outreach and Leadership at Armstrong (HOLA) program students.

Dr. Kristen Betts has been appointed as the first director of online learning at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Most recently, she served as the senior director for eLearning at Drexel University in Philadelphia.

The Armstrong Atlantic State University Athletics Department placed a school-record 83 student-athletes on the Peach Belt Conference's Presidential Honor Roll for 2010-11, as announced by conference officials.
