Hurricane Sandy caused massive power outages and billions of dollars in destruction, but Beautiful Earth's solar-powered EV charging station at Brooklyn Bridge Park had zero damage and no downtime - a testament to the advantages of renewable energy.

Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba hosted a 40th National Day reception in Washington, DC in honor of the founding of the United Arab Emirates. Beautiful Earth Group was on hand to represent Lancaster.

Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin received the 2011 Green Governor of the Year Award, which was founded by Beautiful Earth Group. Following the award, the Governor met with local clean tech business leaders and California State Governor Jerry Brown.
