The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for its 2020 Research Science Institute, which will be held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA.

The Center for Excellence in Education's (CEE) Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP) held cost-free professional enrichment sessions for middle and high school teachers across the state of Virginia during the month of September.

Team USA Members were selected based on their academic merit by CEE during the 13th Annual USABO National Finals hosted by Purdue University. Chen, Du, Dun, and Mangalick are this nation's premier biology students.

Students invited to the RSI program receive free tuition, room, and board. Their only expense is transportation to and from MIT. This allows CEE to select RSI students solely on the basis of academic records and their accomplishments.

The Teacher Roundtable sponsored by CEE, Capital One, Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, ExxonMobil, MeadWestvaco Foundation, and Micron Foundation is being hosted by the Virginia Space Grant Consortium for secondary school teachers.

Four members of Team USA have been selected from the USA Biology Olympiad (USABO), which is sponsored by CEE and hosted by Purdue. They will compete at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) July 12-19 in Aarhus, Denmark.
