The Silver Circle Gallery in Putnam, CT is proud to announce the upcoming exhibit The Feeling of Red featuring works by local artists Bernice Harmyk and Susan Rosenstone Larrow.

The exhibit will showcase new works which are significant because as Munson states “these new paintings are the cohesive consolidation and integration of multiple aspects of my creative life.”

Sean Farrell, Bud Cook, Shaun Rock, and Karen Reid each have a very distinct style and perspective. This display will provide a unique experience for the viewer to see how the individual artist explores the figure and its form.

The show consists of 5 artists who respectively work in mosaics, encaustics and fiber. . The works have complex layers of materials and surfaces that both tell stories and serve as an imprint of history.

This show will present a variety of pieces in both gouache and collage. The work chosen and show concept reflect the distinct processes she incorporates using these two mediums and the relationship between the two.
