The Austin chapter of the Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) honored Dadnab with the Small Business of the Year award at its 2011 Inaugural Transportation Awards Banquet.

Attendees at this weekend’s 2010 Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) will use mobile phones to help them get around town. A mobile texting application, Dadnab, will help them avoid traffic jams and parking difficulties that accompany the event.

Getting public transportation directions just got easier, as transit texting service Dadnab has added phone numbers in the ten regions it serves.

Dadnab won the Take on Traffic award in in the small business category at the 2009 Greater Austin Business Awards. The award honors businesses that reduce traffic and vehicle miles traveled.

Ten urban-minded organizations are combining forces to question City Council and mayoral candidates about their vision for Austin’s urban core.

Southern California commuters are now using text messaging to plan their trips on public transportation. Transportation startup Dadnab is the first to provide such a service to riders throughout the region.
