Dr. Stephen Holland, a tourism and recreation professor at the University of Florida, successfully completed the course on KOA Kampgrounds’ operations, marketing, and management.

The University of Florida and China are improving their relations through academics. Dr. Dan Connaughton was an invited keynote speaker at the 2012 International Conference of Sport Science & Physical Education in addition to other collaborations.

Dr. Kelly Semrad presented her forecasting models for revenue management in the hotel industry at the Cornell Hospitality Research Summit. Her invited presentation was so revolutionary that Semrad was selected as the Best Academic Presenter.

The Gator Nation Goes for Gold: Thirty-four University of Florida athletes participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics and seven of these were from the College of Health and Human Performance.
