World of Words by Elias Tobias

The World of Words by Elias Tobias celebrates its third year in a new format and a new host this month. On Feb. 12, 2007, Poet Elias Tobias has launched the transformation of his then nine-year-old Web site to a professionally-designed poetry blog.

Rev. Paul Abernathy, one of the founders and original members of unofficial Lambda Sigma Chi Fraternity at Ball State University, will be starting a column, "All Things Considered," as part of the World of Words by Elias Tobias.

The webmaster of the World of Words by Elias Tobias has created the Official Fan Club Web Site for the poetry blog.

Beginning soon The World of Words by Elias Tobias will be accepting paid advertising for each daily blog entry. The opportunity is a basic classified ad with a hyperlinked logo at the end of each post. Advertising agencies are invited to inquire.

Les Aventures du Cow-boy Cosmic is French for "The Adventures of the Cosmic Cowboy," and it is a new poetry book that has appeared at the World of Words by Elias Tobias on Sundays in September. It will continue to be placed in that slot.

The World of Words by Elias Tobias is 11 years old, and has been on the Internet for 11 continuous years.

Author Michael Hall offers the essay, “Word Power: 10 ways to make your words have meaning and impact,” being distributed through his poetry web blog, The World of Words by Elias Tobias.

Through the magic of technology and computers, The World of Words by Elias Tobias presents a portfolio of 30 Artbrushed images that originated as digital photographs by Mike Hall.

From September 8, 2008 to January 30, 2009, there was a 3618 percent increase in unique visitors from 23,563 to 867,074. A 4494 percent increase in page views was shown from the same dates.

Internationally known poet Elias Tobias has written a poem to celebrate the inauguration of the 44th President State Barack Obama. The poem, called, “Waiting for the Moment” is on the poet’s web blog , The World of Words by Elias Tobias.
