For many individuals who venture off into the world, the art of travel truly is a journey – an adventure which serves as a rite of passage, a coming-of-age tale.

Mistura, the largest food festival in South America, will be held for the seventh year in Lima, Peru. The festival dates recently announced by the Peruvian Gastronomy Association (Apega) for 2014 are September 5 - 11.

The fifth annual gastronomy festival, called Mistura, held this past September in Lima, Peru, was another huge success. Huge as in more than a half million people attended during the 10 day event.

The adventure travel company, Explorations Inc., has organized a tour to Peru this September 8th - 20th featuring Mistura 2012 in Lima, and travels from the Andes to the Amazon. Mistura is the largest food festival in Latin America .
