Hedge funds, measured by the GGHFI, posted losses in November losing ground during the latter half of the month on weak fundamentals in European markets. The GGHFI shed 1.1% compared to benchmarks. 39% of constituent funds ended the month with gains.

Hedge funds measured by the Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Index posted strong results in October, benefitting from a rebound in equity prices during the month. The GGHFI gained 2.3% compared to global equity return in the S&P 500, MSCI WE and FTSE 100.

Hedge funds as measured by the Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Index posted mixed results but generally finished the month with losses. GGHFI declined 3.08% compared to global equity indices. 30% of constituent funds in GGHFI ended the month with gains.

Hedge funds measured by the Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Index navigated volatile markets to finish month with a slight loss. GGHFI shed 1.32% compared to global equity returns in benchmark indices. 28% of constituent funds ended the month with gains.

Hedge funds as measured by the Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Index showed pockets of strength but lost ground on average in May. GGHFI shed 1.20% compared to global equity returns in the S&P 500 TR, MSCI World Equity, and FTSE 100 equity indices.

Hedge funds as measured by the Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Index (“GGHFI”) gained across all major strategies in April. GGHFI gained 1.69% compared to global equity indices returns. 78% of constituent funds in the GGHFI ended April with gains.

Most hedge funds advanced in the month of March, but losses in Directional funds dragged down the group as a whole. The Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Index (GGHFI) shed 10 basis points. 58% of constituent funds in the GGHFI ended the month with gains.
