From the moment the winds picked up on LI, Guardians of Rescue members were out assisting animals and families affected by the storm. They have since responded in New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Long Island to zones affected.

Sometimes our soldiers, who can’t help saving animals in need while deployed, are unable to offer them a home in States due to the nature of their service or for other reasons. We saved 10 of these dogs and are returning an additional to a soldier.
