Amy Marshall, Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Webbed Marketing, will lead a workshop “Using Social Media for Research” to help attendees understand how to harness the massive amounts of real-time data are available via social media.

As part of the free 2012 Social Media Summit set for May 23rd, author and criminal investigator Danine Manette will offer a free workshop “Protecting Your Children Online,” which will present methods for tracking children’s online activities.

Entry is free but a registration is required. The topics for BarCamp Harrisburg 2012 include tracks on web and learning technologies, mobile application development, cyber security and coding.
