IMR Test Labs offers a new faster turnaround, less expensive failure analysis service.

IMR Test Labs will be opening a materials testing facility in Suzhou, China to better serve clients in Asia. Bill Hong will serve as General Manager for the Suzhou facility.

IMR Test Labs is expanding the New York lab's composite testing capabilities with new accreditations and approvals, including our recent Nadcap approval for Nonmetallic Materials Testing.

Slow Strain Rate is used to test the susceptibility of metals to Stress Corrosion Cracking by simulating severe in-service conditions. IMR Test Labs can test all types of metallic materials in a range of liquids from ambient temperature to 100°C.

IMR has added a Frontier PY-2020iD Multi-shot Pyrolyzer, to add inlet techniques as Thermal Desorption, Pyrolysis, and Evolved Gas Analysis. It expands our ability to analyze for additives, hazardous substances, and contaminants in many materials.

IMR KHA - Portland has earned GE S-400 accreditation for Creep Testing. Creep testing is used to evaluate materials used in jet engines, gas turbines and other high temperature applications.

Jennifer joins IMR with over seven years of experience in the Metals and Chemicals group of the quality department at Toyota North American Manufacturing Headquarters. She will assist with Failure Analysis, Metallurgical and Corrosion Testing.

IMR KHA - Portland has expanded it's welder qualification program to include approvals from OBOA, WABO and the City of Portland.

IMR Test Labs in New York has received A2LA and Nadcap Accreditation for Fracture Mechanics Testing to support the Aerospace, Power Generation, Construction and Infrastructure Industries and more.

IMR Test Labs Portland Location names Jaret Frafjord Technical Director. Jaret brings extensive experience in metallography, optical microscopy, electron microscopy & analysis, quantitative image analysis, mechanical testing and project management.
