The March 1st Toys auction features the late Howard Meyer Legacy Collection. The Petroliana & Advertising auction has petroliana, advertising signs, toys, soda advertising & model planes.

A copy of Mark Twain's Adventures of Tom Sawyer sold for $22,990; a letter signed by Washington and Jefferson brought $21,780; and a three-volume set of Dickens's Great Expectations hit $16,940. Online bidding was on multiple platforms.

Edmund Wattis Dumke and Carol Dean Browning Dumke were descendants of two notable U.S. Western families. They were both generous philanthropists, horse enthusiasts and art collectors.

The 458-lot Art Deco to Post-Modern Art & Design auction, starting at 10 am Eastern, will feature contemporary and modern art and furniture, and the collection of interior designer Bill Stewart. Online bidding is available on several platforms.

Some of the items are from the estate of Helen Mary Keyes, who had long and storied ties to the Kennedy family, dating to when her father was the dentist to Joe and Rose Kennedy's children. The auction will be online and live in Amesbury, Mass.

The event will be held at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) and the historic Hotel ZaZa in the Houston Museum District.
