Lexington Healing Arts Academy (LHAA) has added Health & Wellness Coaching to its holistic based services. Coaching joins Massage Therapy, Personal Training, Yoga, and educational workshops to the list of wellness offerings at the Academy.

LHAA offers small group Personal Training classes without the usual costs. Now through December, Monday night classes are free with a donation of canned goods. January enter the Transformation Contest and win prizes while losing weight.

The MBSR program combines the art and science of meditation to transform the way you relate to stress. This 8 session intensive program was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn of the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The workshop begins Oct. 2.

LHAA Yoga Teacher Training and Personal Fitness Interns will offer free daily yoga classes & 50% reduced cost one-on-one personal fitness sessions. The yoga classes are August 15-October 7 and the $25 hour fitness sessions are August 2-September 15.

LHAA announces a new accredited Personal Fitness Training program. A strong foundation in the sciences, fitness techniques and assessments, professional developement, hands-on training and a 120 hour internship comprise the 840 hour program.
