SAN DIEGO, CA- MANA de San Diego organization announced today that it will be co-hosting its premiere Latina Success/Mujeres de Exito conference for 500 women on October 11, 2014.

Ashley Lopez has been named MANA de San Diego’s first Gates Millennium Scholar.

According to the Office of Women’s Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Latinos have a high propensity of heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.

MANA de San Diego, a non-profit, Latina organization, along with community and government leaders, such as, San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis and Congressman Juan Vargas.

SAN DIEGO, CA. (June 6, 2013) – MANA de San Diego has received a Community Impact grant of $15,000 from New York Life for its Hermanitas Youth Leadership Mentor Program.
