Nova Scotia start-up company about to introduce line of mammography software products

Canadian technology companies will vie for a spot in one of the fastest growing tech hubs in the U.S. in a new competition Innovacorp launched today.

A Halifax biomedical company on a mission to fight superbugs is enhancing its product development with an investment from the province. DeNovaMed Inc. has secured $500,000 in venture capital from Innovacorp.

Marcato Digital Solutions has secured $500,000 in financing from Innovacorp, Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation, Coastal Community Business Development Corporation, and the NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program.
