Medical Tourism Congress

The Medical Tourism Association® launched two certifications for insurance and HR professionals, medical tourism facilitators and travel agents. The first of the ongoing series of workshops was held October 27th, 2012 at the annual Congress event.

The 5th World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress (WMT & GHC) recognized two sponsors for having the best booths for country branding in the exhibit hall; these sponsors were given an award during the farewell reception held at the event.

The first Medical Directors Summit was held on October 26th at the 5th World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress. The Summit was a collaboration platform for medical directors from top U.S. & international hospitals and insurance companies.

The 5th World Medical Tourism and Global Healthcare Congress (WMT & GHC) recognized eight individuals for their achievements and dedication to the medical tourism industry by giving them a leadership award in a ceremony held at the event.

After four days of speeches, networking, workshops and entertainment the 5th World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress (WMT & GHC) concluded with excitement and motivation towards furthering the growth of the medical tourism industry.

On just the first day of the World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress (WMT & GHC), attendance was up and participants from over 90 countries have landed in the sunshine state.

The 3rd Global Ministerial Summit held during the 5th World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress broke the record yesterday in attendance with 80 delegates representing 40 countries.

The 5th World Medical Tourism Congress, South Florida October 24-26th, will be fully integrated with the Global Benefits Conference and the Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress, one of the largest insurance conferences in the U.S.
