A Muslim should stand for up justice and support all such inquiries that bring justice to the people, the least he can do is to speak up against injustice. We are appalled with the interference fro, Hon. Abullah Gul, president of Republic of Turkey.

If there is a foreign policy or religious crises, Mike Ghouse is called on to offer pluralistic solutions on issues of the day. Part of the solution was taped in our Dallas offices by Bud Gillette of CBS News and shared it on the evening News.

As Americans, and as American Muslims, we uphold, protect, defend and celebrate the values enshrined in our constitution. All our faiths reinforce the creed of "One Nation under God, with liberty and justice for all”.

One of the communities we are appreciating at this Unity Day USA is the Sikh Community, for setting an example that forgiveness, patience, forbearance, and kindness are the right values, and the right thing to do when tragedy befalls a community.

The bride and groom must be admired by one and all, in this divisive world, where people have difficulty in agreeing, and difficulty in getting along – they are setting a new standard, that of respecting each other’s uniqueness.

Muslims together condemn the arrest and imprisonment of a Christian girl, Rimsha Masih, in Pakistan on blasphemy charges. We urge Muslims in Pakistan and around the world to focus on this particular topic and seek to abolish the blasphemy laws.

We pray for the innocent people who died in the senseless shooting at the Sikh Gurudwara in Oak Creek, Michigan.

On this Unity Day, we the people of the United States of America of every faith, race, ethnicity, culture and background will gather to express our commitment to co-existence, unity, prosperity and well being of our nation.
