[Encinitas, CA] May 5th the City of Encinitas Commission for the Arts celebrated the critical role the arts play in our schools and community, and launched the First Annual Encinitas Arts Festival.

This year’s self-guided tour of nine unique gardens meanders through the nostalgic beach town of Leucadia, then east through New Encinitas and onto the winding rural roads past the estates of historic Olivenhain in San DIego County. CA.

The beat went on, Friday, April 27th, as the Carlsbad Drum Circle presented by Christy Johnson, rocked the building with drum rhythms, instruments, and the air filled with the joy of laughter at Exhibition 3.

May 5th, 10-4pm, the festival will provide an innovative showcase of outstanding talent by student and professional musicians, dancers, actors and artists in Encinitas with plenty of opportunities for the community to experience the arts first-hand.
