Under the New Mexico Whistleblower Protection Act, a former Public Regulation Commission employee is expected to receive double the pay back amount awarded by Santa Fe jury.
In December of 2012, an employer won a bench trial in a case against the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions in a wage and hour case. After careful review, the court agreed with the employer and the case was dismissed.
