NOKR, the sole national repository for emergency contact information, is in the final stages of readying for release a new program designed to mitigate school safety in the wake of the recent wave of shootings across our nation's schools.

Locating family and friends post the New Zealand North and South Canterbury Region earthquake and looming Tsunami,  NOKR is working to assist the Territorial Emergency Management Coordinating Office of New Zealand.

Less media coverage and national resources available for missing persons over age 18, along with other potential social factors, leave families with minimal resources.
