As snow, sleet and below-freezing temperatures continue into this week, the Old Saybrook Fire Department reminds all motorists to be prepared as they travel local roads and highways.

'Wreaths Across America' accompanied by the Patriot Guard Riders, returns to Old Saybrook, CT12/10/13, 6:00p.m. where it will be met by local veterans, the VFW, the America Legion, shoreline neighbors, students and OSFD & OSPD Honor Guards

The Essex Fire Engine Co. No. 1 will celebrate its 175th anniversary. Area fire departments will gather on Sunday, June 1, for the 2nd Annual Old Saybrook Firefighters Competition and Family Fun Day.
