Columbus Business First newspaper presents annual awards recognizing the top places to work in Central Ohio. For the second consecutive year, WillowWood was recognized as one of the top 10 medium-sized places to work in the Central Ohio region.

In its continuation of expanding product support resources for clinicians, WillowWood has hired Wayne Fichtel, CP, as its national account manager.

Clinicians in the orthotic, prosthetic, and pedorthic industry continue to integrate the use of CAD into their patient care. WillowWood is investing in its OMEGA CAD system to better equip clinicians with the latest technology.

Ryan Arbogast, a fourth-generation member of the Arbogast family, has been promoted to general manager and vice president of operations at Ohio Willow Wood. Arbogast will oversee the operations and growth of the privately-held company.

With a tradition of helping amputees worldwide, Ohio Willow Wood donates prosthetic products to numerous organizations providing aid to the new population of Haitian amputees in the aftermath of Haiti's January 2010 earthquake.

Product education resources for prosthetists have been expanded with the assignment of Ohio Willow Wood team members as product specialists.

The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association has awarded a national award to Maria Gerschutz, PhD, of Ohio Willow Wood, for her research abstract on elevated vacuum suspension.
