On February 25, 2013, Nikolas Toocheck will participate in the White Continent Marathon & Half. It is believed that he is the youngest person ever to attempt this. Nikolas will be running as part of his campaign, “Running the World for Children.”

Firefighters will provide new winter coats to more than 2,000 children living in poverty across Spokane, Pierce County, and Seattle before the New Year.

Baltimore Firefighters, IAFF Local 734, will deliver brand-new winter coats to more than 500 disadvantaged children across Baltimore, in conjunction with Firefighters Coats for Kids Foundation.

Nashville Firefighters will provide over 1,400 school children with brand-new winter coats through their partnership with The Firefighters Coats for Kids Foundation.

Washington D.C. Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 36 will provide brand-new winter coats to 1,000 children across the most impoverished areas of Washington D.C.

Oklahoma City Firefighters, IAFF Local 157, Board of Chief Officers, and the Oklahoma City Retired Firefighter Association provide 2,000 children with brand-new coats through the Firefighters Coats for Kids Foundation.

National non-profit Operation Warm and Firefighters Coats for Kids Foundation have launched an emergency relief effort to provide brand new winter coats for children in New Jersey and New York whose families have been devastated by hurricane Sandy.
