A stunning Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring was one of the highlights at Silverstone Auctions’ recent Spring Sale when it sold for more than £200,000.

One of the greatest supercars ever produced, a McLaren MP4-12C, has been secured by Silverstone Auctions for its forthcoming Spring Sale on 16th May. It is the very first time that a MP4-12C has been offered for sale by auction anywhere in the world.

The automobilia auction at Silverstone Auctions’ Spring Sale is well on ‘track’ for success thanks to many items boasting top flight motorsport pedigree, including several that are Ayrton Senna related.

A 1980 ex-Jon Dooley Alfa Romeo Alfasud Ti, which he raced with great success in the early 1980’s, including third overall in the 1981 British Saloon Car Championship, is going under the hammer.

Silverstone Auctions has done it again and secured another ex-Ayrton Senna race car for its Spring Sale on 16th May. This time it’s the 1982 Ralt RT3 in which Senna got his first taste of Formula 3 glory.

Silverstone Auctions has been asked by TV and radio presenter and famous car nut, Chris Evans, to hold two special auctions in aid of Children in Need at his inaugural CarFest over the August Bank Holiday weekend (25th and 26th August).

A truly unique piece of motorsport history, a Toleman TG184-2 Formula One car driven by Ayrton Senna in his debut F1 season, is up for auction at The Spring Sale to be hosted by Silverstone Auctions on 16th May.
