The Silver Star families of America

The Silver Star Families of America is asking for input from military personnel/veterans who have been or are in wounded warrior transition units from any branch of the Armed Forces.

The Chaplain Service of the Silver Star Families of America, SSFOA, has decided to expand its distribution of Prayer Blankets to veterans that are in the final phase of their lives.

The law Enforcement Equipment Program, (LEEP), is a program designed to place surplus police equipment into the hands of officers, departments, military and American agencies that are in need.

When it comes to the wounded, ill, injured and dying of our armed forces I have never seen an organization that is as ferociously protective and passionate as the Silver Star Families of America.

LEEP provides a website that agencies with surplus equipment can post, letting our Armed Forces know what is available for them to equip and train the law enforcement agencies they are mentoring

Washington D.C. U.S. Senators Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt announced the Senate has approved a resolution sponsored by the Missouri Senators to honor our men and women in uniform who have been injured or become ill in combat and their families.
