TMI - The Episcopal School of Texas

Four students who received scholarships to TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas through an annual competition were recognized during a ceremony in the school’s All Saints Chapel on Friday, Feb. 10.

Marian Amini, a junior at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, is the recipient of a total of $12,000 in scholarships from showing her 12-year-old registered paint horse, Just Plain English, at the San Antonio and Fort Worth stock shows.

Two 8th grade students chosen as Margaret M. and Albert B. Alkek Scholars at TMI. Robert Guerra of San Antonio Academy & Susannah Wright of St. Luke’s Episcopal School are recipients of the program’s two full-tuition, 4-year merit scholarships.

By supporting their basketball teams and wearing pink for a day, students at TMI raised funds benefiting cancer research and treatment.

TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas announced January Cadet of the Month awards for members of the Texas Military Institute Corps of Cadets.

Ryne Hutton, a sixth-grader at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, was awarded Grand Champion Steer of the Show for his steer Grizzly on Jan. 14 at the Kendall County Stock Show in Boerne.

Dale Fastle of Boerne, a junior at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, was chosen to represent TMI at the Rotary Youth Leadership Assembly (RYLA) conference, Jan. 14-17, at the John Newcomb Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels.

Upper School cadets at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas received awards for outstanding performance in the annual JROTC Cadet Challenge during a Reveille ceremony, Jan. 13.

Distinguished Christian philosopher/author Peter Kreeft, Ph.D., spoke Jan. 13 at two events in All Saints Chapel at TMI and took part in a panel discussion with TMI faculty about the relationship between faith, reason and science.

TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas announced Cadet of the Semester awards for two members of the Texas Military Institute Corps of Cadets, the school’s JROTC program.
