The face of fashion in Atlanta was changed on Saturday as 10 designers competed “Project Runway” style in a spectacular fashion show finale. Amongst the sea of paparazzi was a crowd of hundreds cheering for Grand Prize Winner Angelica Cuervo.

In true “Project Runway” style, this Saturday night's fashion show benefiting Easter Seals is certain to bring the drama and flair. The ten competing designers have been constructing their designs that will be the focus of the show.

Take a raw vacant retail space, reclaimed and recycled construction materials and one Interior Designer with an eye for creating the unusual out of ordinary and you have the only true eco-friendly art gallery in Atlanta, possibly the entire U.S.A.

Atlanta is just one month away from experiencing the biggest eco-chic “project runway” -style competition: Fashion Uncorked. Judged by Miss USA Jessica Black, Holly Firfer of CNN and David Goodrowe of SCAD. A must during Spring Fashion Week 2011.

For those wanting to explore a behind-the-scenes and more in-depth day of art, the Art Partners Guild of the High Museum created such an event. Four artists from the Artist Trifecta Gallery participated with 28 artists from Atlanta.

Calling all designers! Fashion Uncorked is seeking Georgia’s fashion designers for a “Project Runway” -style competition to benefit Easter Seals. With the entry deadline drawing near on December 31, the clock is ticking!

The popularity of spiritual and religious icons seen in everyday life presented through art is the focus of the “Icon to Iconic” Exhibit shown at Columbia Theological Seminary.

Fashion designers - new, old, established, untrained, and schooled - wishing to make it to the spotlight PREPARE! The Fashion Uncorked event has been planned and the details being released will prepare Atlanta for a Project Runway type competition.
