World Animal Awareness Society

Michigan Humane Society has provided a cash grant to the independent international non-profit media organization World Animal Awareness Society -WA2S.org for their unprecedented American Strays program to conduct research within the City of Detroit.

Several volunteer film-makers led by WA2S.org Executive Director Tom McPhee are on an urgent impromptu mission to document the human – animal intersection that occurs at SNAPPERFEST in Aurora, Indiana.

World Animal Awareness Society begins full-scale data collection in the City of Detroit as part of their nationwide visual census of stray dogs - American Strays - a true canine headcount of US stray dogs presented as a broadcast ready documentary

The WA2S will release 2 x 54 and 2 x 26 minute documentaries. The 2 x 54 productions are: Amongst The Animals and American Stray. The 2 x 26 productions are: The Volunteers and International Animal Rescue Chaser

Ms. Regelson, whose credits include: Bud Greenspan Presents Michelle Kwan, and 100 Years of Olympic Glory will helm the editing department for the ever growing slate of films and TV specials produced by the World Animal Awareness Society - WA2S.org

West Palm Beach, FL - The World Animal Awareness Society (WA2S.org) kicks off the most unique annual campaign ever created by its founder on March 11th, 2011 with the themed, AWESOME ADVENTURES supporting GREAT EXPEDITIONS at the Paul Fisher Gallery.

Sit in on the filming session with Tom McPhee & Dr. Temple Grandin. The FOCUS of the shoot is the evolution of the human species utilizing the perspective of other species. Dr. GRANDIN will teach us how to see & film as if we are a non-human animal.

Dr. Temple Grandin will attempt to teach Tom McPhee how to think and be like a non-human animal and assist the World Animal Awareness Society (WA2S) in documenting the human/Animal intersection.

Tom McPhee, Executive Director of the World Animal Awareness Society has promoted Michelle Way to Chief Operating Officer, and appointed nine volunteer Regional Directors within the United States and Canada.

On October 22, 2010,everyone in attendance is expected to dress as an animal and Come “Into the Wild” at Mr. Ady Gil’s residence in California. This event is a fundraiser to benefit the World Animal Awareness Societies ongoing capital campaign.
