Advanced Micro Controls Inc. (AMCI), has added Profibus communication to their NR25 series of encoders. Available with many features including daisy-chaining, these multi-turn absolute encoders can save time and money while also reducing cabling.

AMCI’s ANG1(E) integrates drive and motion control technology, simplifying installation and cutting costs. Move commands are easily programmed through the host PLC software, and cabling is reduced by expanding up to 6 axes over a single connection.
