American Association of Caregiving Youth

The American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) is pleased to announce that CBS 12 Anchor/Reporter, Michele Wright, will emcee the organization’s Hearts & “Soles” Fundraising Dinner event, on Tuesday, February 28, 2013.

For the third year, it was a “sell out” crowd as more than 300 caregiving youth and their families along with about 50 volunteers who gathered for a Holiday Celebration Dinner at Benvenuto’s in Boynton Beach on December 17th.

Palm Beach County resident has the opportunity to be awarded $250,000 when one hero will be named “CNN Hero of the Year”. Siskowski was among more than 10,000 nominations received this year by the CNN Heroes program.

Over 100 local dignitaries, elected officials, business, educational and religious leaders and community supporters shared their esteem and thanks to two outstanding local women.

Joe Kraus, founder and CEO of Stratis Business Systems, headquartered in Boca Raton, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY).

Community Service Hours are required for graduation and are commonly recognized by academic institutions across the country. Prior to this decision, work at home was not recognized as community service.
