Digital high definition scans of the watercolor paintings of American birds done by James Audubon are now available in the iOS app called BirdArt. The plates depict vivid illustrations of birds in their natural habitats and portraying various poses.

Avelgood Apps has updated Twigle on the App Store with a new version that includes a bird image recognition feature which allows birders to simply take a photo of a bird and have Twigle identify the bird.
