Body Art Training Group

The Denver Department of Environmental Health has added the Body Art Training Group to its list of acceptable providers for body artist bloodborne pathogens training.

Orange County, California has designated the Body Art Training Group as an approved provider of bloodborne pathogen exposure control training for tattoo artists, body piercers, and permanent cosmetics technicians.

The Body Art Training Group announced that one of its online continuing education courses, “Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control for Body Art Professionals”, has been approved by the Oregon Health Licensing Agency.

The Mississippi State Department of Health has approved a Body Art Training Group online course as a “Disease Prevention Course” for Tattoo Artists and Body Piercers.

The Body Art Training Group sent one of its instructors, Kathy Hartman, to attend the Safe Body Art Act Implementation Meeting held on April 27, 2012 in Sacramento, CA.

The Body Art Training Group will present the bloodborne pathogens segment of an all-day Safe Body Art Act compliance training program on May 29, 2012 in Santa Ana, California.

The Body Art Training Group has been approved by the Department of Health, County of Los Angeles to give the 8-hour Body Art Health and Safety Training that is required for all body art practitioners operating in Los Angeles County.

The Body Art Training Group will present the bloodborne pathogens segment of an all-day training program on California’s new Safe Body Art Act (AB 300). This training will be given on Monday, April 2 in Sacramento, CA.
