The money was raised during a Throwback to the 60's fundraising campaign spear-headed by Boomer Diva Nation, BAMedia and its President, Beverly Mahone. The event took place on November 2 at the Healing with CAARE facility in Durham, NC.

Laura Schlafly, an Encore Career Coach for baby boomers, will be teaming up with national radio talk show host and fellow boomer Beverly Mahone to share her expertise on how to find passion, purpose, and a paycheck in the second half of the journey.

This is the second year in a row that Boomer Diva Nation is recognizing the contributions of baby boomer men.

The men honored as Top Boomer Men for 2011 all share one thing in common: they are on the move and making a difference in the lives of others.

Boomer Diva Nation Announces its list of 50 and Fabulous Top Bloggers for 2010. Included among them is television actress and producer Debbie Zipp.

The one-hour show is targeted to baby boomers. The uniqueness of The Boomer Beat is that each show will carry a theme and the music will correlate along with that theme.
