In only his second Mobil 1 Porsche Supercup race, series rookie De Phillippi just missed out on a podium, finishing P4 before a packed Formula 1 crowd on the streets of Monaco.

After another incredibly close weekend of racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany Championship, the young American driver has taken the lead of the overall Driver's Championship.

With a massive grid of 37 drivers, representing 11 different countries to kick off the championship, American Connor De Phillippi started from pole position after breaking Porsche Factory driver Nick Tandy's 2011 qualifying record around Hockenheim.

The 2014 race season got off to a great start for the young Porsche Junior driver. With a solid P5 finish in race 1 at Hockenheim, De Phillippi will start from pole position in race 2 thanks to a new qualifying lap record!

It was a weekend of firsts for the Porsche Motorsport Junior driver, however, the young American led the race for many hours and proved he has what it takes to battle for wins in even the most challenging of races.

For Porsche Motorsport Junior driver Connor De Phillippi, rounds 12 and 13 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany were a challenge to say the least. Despite this, De Phillippi feels the team is clicking on all cylinders and ready for Zandvoort.

Saturday's round 14 at the picturesque Zandvoort circuit saw multiple lap one incidents, forcing the round to be delayed until the following morning. This delay did not stop the young American from capturing his personal best result of the season.

With no prior race experience around the Nurburgring GP circuit, Connor De Phillippi and his Lukas Motorsport team continued to mesh and improve their Porsche GT3 Cup car for the 12th & 13th rounds of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.

Porsche Junior Driver Connor De Phillippi battled through an unpreventable mechanical issue, a tough qualifying session and intense competition to bring two more home top ten finishes in his Roboscan Internet Security machine.
