The Global Packaging Alliance (GPA) held its annual meeting in the Americas during the week of January 19, 2009. With members convening from all over the world, the yearly event was a chance to discuss strategies and goals for the upcoming year.

Diamond Packaging was named a “Supplier of the Year” by the Procter and Gamble Company during P&G's first ever global Supplier Summit on October 15, 2008.

Diamond Packaging earned five awards in the 65th Annual National Paperboard Packaging Competition, the industry’s premier showcase for all that is new and outstanding in paperboard packaging design and technology.

The Global Packaging Alliance (GPA) announced that they have added a new partner in South Africa by signing an agreement with Masterpack, based in Hariotdale, Johannesburg. Masterpack is one of South Africa’s premier packaging and print companies.

Diamond Packaging won five awards in the 15th Annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards Competition, the industry's premier showcase for foil stamping and embossing designs and techniques.
