There’s the old adage-“if the Shoe fits, wear it.”Unfortunately in this instance this statement is not exactly true.

What is peripheral neuropathy? Peripheral neuropathy refers to a series of medical conditions affecting the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord.

Peripheral neuropathy is due to damage to the nerves, especially those nerves that supply the feet and the hands.

Diabetes is commonly associated with neuropathy. In fact it is estimated that over 60% of diabetics (both insulin dependent and type 2 diabetics), will develop neuropathy in their lifetimes.
