Gift Checks Online

According to the Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch website, the growing popularity of gift cards has triggered concerns over an increase in fraudulent redemptions. Hackers and thieves now target stolen gift card numbers and make online purchases.

According to a survey conducted by Consumer Reports, one in every four gift cards purchased is never used. A recent National Public Radio (NPR) segment also focused on other issues associated with gift cards, such as hidden fees.

Gift Checks Online has announced the debut of its “Gift Back” program, which is open to any nonprofit organization seeking a new fundraising endeavor.
