Great Aussie Camp Out

In the last 25 years we have cushioned ourselves away from the natural environment, especially our children. Spending time indoors in front of screens, we are forgetting how important time outside in nature is for the development of our children.

The Great Aussie Camp Out (GACO) is set to explode all over Australia this Saturday, 13th October, 2012.

In excess of 6500 Australians camped out overnight on Saturday 15th October as part of the annual Great Aussie Camp Out (GACO), smashing the 2010 numbers by over 2000.

Saturday 15th October has been declared National Camping Day! It is also the date of the Great Aussie Camp Out, just over 1 month away. With 2000 registrations already, the 2011 Great Aussie Camp Out is well on track for record participation.
