INDIE VIXENS

The Women's FIlm Institute selected 35 Short Films directed by women who were from San Francisco, Spain, Switzerland and various parts of the United States to screen during the 2011 San Francisco International Women's FIlm Festival

INDIE VIXENS ® will collaborate with others, raise colon cancer awareness, and launch INDIE VIXENS Sessions ®, their film screening and music showcase platform at "The Suite ®," aka Beale Street Tavern in Austin March 12-15, 2011.

INDIE VIXENS ® " Film Meets Charity ®" event was noted as one of the “Top 10 Events of Sundance 2011” by Film.com. The INDIE VIXENS® Who's Who: Women, Media, Film and Music event was held at "The Studio."

INDIE VIXENS ® will host the Who's Who in entertainment, and celebrate women in film, media, and music on Main Street during Sundance Film Festival 2011, while building awareness for colon cancer

“Brickwalk Café,” zeroes in on the daily conversations of secret lovers, ex-lovers, father and son, and a local porn star who frequent a neighborhood cafe. The production team utilized Nikon D90's to shoot the independent film.

Several films written, directed and produced by women were selected for competition during the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. The Women's Film Institute and INDIE VIXENS® will celebrate those films and the women who are making a difference in cinema.
