Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County

Recognition dinner made possible by grant from F.I.S.H. Foundation, Inc.

Hundreds of homebound elderly and disabled residents of Mercer County will benefit from recent grants to Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County (ICGMC).

The Board of Directors of Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County has named Hamilton Square, NJ, resident Jane Cairo Latini as the nonprofit’s new Executive Director. Latini had served as its Acting Executive Director since May 2012.

Senior citizens and people with disabilities will benefit from a $20,000 grant that the Office of Faith Based Initiatives (OFBI), a Division of Programs in the Department of State, has awarded nonprofit Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County.

Thanks to strong community support, volunteers working with nonprofit Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County (ICGMC) will continue providing free services to the area’s homebound elderly and people with disabilities throughout 2013.

Funding helps Mercer County, NJ, nonprofiit provide free caregiving services to close to 300 seniors annually

On June 1, the Trenton Ecumenical Area Ministry (TEAM), which seeks to generate reconciliation and harmony among diverse Mercer County groups, will honor several area church parishioners and Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County.

In a room packed with volunteers, board members, community leaders and legislators, Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County (ICGMC), recently honored hundreds of its Mercer County volunteer caregivers.
