Kechie's Project Founder Ms. Nkechi Ogbodo made her annual visit to the 3rd grade Social Studies classes of Mr. Moss at P.S.101Q in Forest Hills, NY to speak about Nigeria and answer to questions from the students and promote cultural awareness.

Kechie's Project presents an Evening to Benefit our Girls with our host Emmy nominated journalist of NY Channel 11 WPIX-TV Ojinika Obiekwe and guest speaker Podiatrist Dr. Suzanne M. Levine of Institute Beaute, consultant on NBC’s The Today Show.

Kechie's Project Fashion Showcase at Bread and Roses High School in Harlem, NY featured a designer runway show with clothing provided by Brooks Brothers, Kristi Vosbeck and Aso Damisi. Guest speakers included Dr. Aletha Maybank and Mercedes Gonzales.

Kechie's Project's community efforts include organizing monthly cultural luncheons providing Guest Speakers to empower girls in our cultural group at the Bread and Roses High School.

Kechie's Project and Face2Face Africa will launch their partnership on Thursday, December 13th at Kechie's Project's "Cocktails for Education" Holiday Event at the Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations celebrating F2FA Magazine's Premier Issue.

Kechie’s Project will hold its Holiday Benefit event Cocktails for Education.Funds raised will be used to continue providing our sponsored girls with scholarships to attend high schools in Nigeria and supporting our cultural workshop programs.

Kechie's Project founder Nkechi Ogbodo and children's activist Nenna Agba continue their mentoring efforts in New York City at Bread and Roses High School as role models for young African women transitioning to life in America.

Kechie's Project is continuing it's mission to provide underprivileged young Nigeiran women the gift of improved education with financial assistance and material resources.
