30th Annual Maccabi Games Kicks Off at Michael-Ann Russell JCC!

The Alan and Diane Lieberman Children’s Cultural Arts Series, presented through the Rabbi Norman Mussman Cultural Arts Department of the Michael-Ann Russell JCC, put on the first show of its 17th season with “Madeline and the Bad Hat”

J-CAT, The J’s Cultural Arts Theatre of the MAR-JCC, NMB begins it’s theatre season on September 14, with lot’s of laughs as they present Moon Over Buffalo, a hilarious production focusing on two fading Broadway stars of the 1950’s.

The 10 Sport Soccer Program at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC, North Miami Beach, FL celebrated its 10th year as a youth soccer academy for boys and girls, by opening a non-profit Soccer Academy in the underprivileged city of Quibdo (Chocó), Colombia.

The 35th Annual Meeting of the Michael-Ann Russell JCC, will be held Sunday, May 29, 2011, and will honor the outgoing president, recognize past and present leadership, present a special community award, and install a new Chairman of the Board.

Beginning Wednesday, May 11, the J’s Cultural Arts Theatre at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC 18900 NE 25th Ave, N Miami Beach, will present “Radium Girls” by D.W. Gregory, a play that ironically ties the past to the current state of the present.

On Monday, May 9, the Michael-Ann Russell JCC will celebrate the 63rd Birthday of the State of Israel, and the significant achievements it has contributed in the areas of science, medicine, technology, art, agriculture and more.
