Nevada Interpreters&Translators Association (NITA)

NITA presents a 10-hour course of classes for legal and administrative interpreters. Through a number of different techniques and recorded materials, you will build up your Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation and Sight Translation skills.

An anonymous letter dated November 20 of 2009 was sent to the Administrator of the Courts of the Supreme Court of Nevada. NITA regrets the form, style and substance of this letter, and strongly disagrees with its suggested logic.

In Business Las Vegas, a business weekly, announced the 17 winners of its "Women to Watch 2010" awards. NITA Vice President Judy Jenner is among the winners honored with an award ceremony on January 29, 2010, at the Palazzo hotel and casino.

NITA is pleased to announce free and public presentations - at its Quarterly Meeting on Saturday, December 5 - about the History of Court Interpretation and the Nuremberg Trial, as well as an overview of the Court Certification Process in Nevada.
