Ergun Poyraz, defendant detainee of Ergenekon Trial, was fined for violating the rights of Fethullah Gulen, in his book "The Imam in America".

A new dialogue institute has been launched within Eurasia State University in Astana. The institute is jointly founded by Dialogue Eurasia Platform, Kazakhstan Historians Association, Kazakhstan Theologians Association and Kazakh TV.

Fethullah Gülen is one is one of the most influential intellectuals on the planet. Born in Turkey, a polymath active in many areas, he was at the origin of an international movement affecting civil society, the economy, and especially education.

Turkish Professor Toktamış Ateş, also a columnist with the Bugün daily, passed away on Saturday January 19, 2013. Fethullah Gülen expressed his condolences in a statement, describing Prof. Ateş an exemplary democrat in academia and media.

Islamic scholar Gülen backs peace talks between government and PKK. "We should tolerate things we do not approve of to ensure that our country's stability continues and that it continues to be an influential power among other nations,” he said.
