Peter May was the recipient of the Barry Award for his book "The Blackhouse". George Easter of Deadly Pleasures magazine presented the award to at the Scottish author Bouchercon crime writing convention in Albany NY last week.

Scottish author Peter May's Lewis Trilogy received another accolade in his adopted home of France this weekend when the author won the 2012 Prix Polar International at the "Festival Polar de Cognac" - France's top festival of crime writing in Cognac.

Peter May's international best-seller, The Blackhouse, finally reaches the USA. Published this month by Sterling Publishing's Silver Oak imprint, its success is something that Scottish author Peter May once believed would never be possible.
