PROFAUNA Indonesia censured the absurdly low sentence given to Basuki Ongko Raharjo, an international wildlife dealer. On 17 June 2015 the panel of judges at Surabaya District Court gave a low sentence: 6 months of prison, with 1 year of probation.

ProFauna Indonesia launched a new campaign, "Ride for Orangutan 2013". The campaign will be conducted by touring around Sumatra by motorbikes. During the 7000 km trip, the team will do edeucational programs to local people on orangutan protection.
