In the 2013 Preliminary Overview of the Economies of Latin America and the Caribbean, recently published by the ECLAC, Nicaragua figures among the countries with highest economic growth for 2013, in terms of its gross domestic product.

The 2013-2014 Doing Business in Nicaragua guide was presented on December 10th by PRONicaragua, along with the Ministry of Development, Industry and Trade and the American Chamber of Commerce of Nicaragua.
