Perkasie Borough will celebrate the 100th anniversary of America's oldest community Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on December 5 with a special holiday fireworks display.

Perkasie, a small borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is thought to be where the tradition of an outdoor, lighted community Christmas tree began. The borough will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the event on Dec. 5.

Popular event features music, ribs-grilling competition, pie-baking contest, Art on the Avenue, rides and games for kids.
