Sibley Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Ohnmacht, R.N., M.S., M.S.N as Associate Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Director of Critical Care.

Evans’ major responsibilities will include developing and overseeing clinical operations across all Sibley locations that provide cancer care to patients.

Sibley Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary C. Dupont, M.D., FACS as the director of its Center for Pelvic Floor Disorders. Dr. Dupont joined Sibley on November 1, 2010.

Sibley Memorial Hospital cancer patients were treated to an evening of pampering at the Red Door Spa in Washington, DC.

Sibley physicians and nurses joined other healthcare workers to offer their services to those affected by the Haiti earthquake.

A Ceremonial Resolution by the Council of the District of Columbia was presented to Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Sullivan Center for Breast Health at their October 15, 2009 Breast Conference.

On Friday, October 16, 2009, Sibley’s Sullivan Center for Breast Health hosted their 5th annual "One Hundred Hugs Day." The Center schedules up to 100 free mammograms for uninsured and underserved women in recognition of National Mammography Day.

Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Sullivan Center for Breast Health has been granted a three-year, full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.

On November 16, 2009, Colette M. Magnant, MD, FACS joined Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Physician Group. She is also the Director of Sibley’s Breast Cancer program and a founding physician of Sibley’s Sullivan Center for Breast Health.
